Pegasus shares resume trading on the Nasdaq today. — CIBC World Markets upgraded Cablevision from ‘sector underperformer’ to ‘sector performer,’ citing the MSO’s disclosure that it’s suspending the Voom spinoff and seeking "strategic alternatives" for it. Cablevision is forging ahead, hyping an expansion of Voom’s programming for spring ’05. New nets will range from BBC America to Fox Movie Channel to Science Channel. CIBC’sCannon Carr expects the hi-def DBS service will shut down, although plenty are betting EchoStar will scoop up Voom at a deep discount this year. CVC shares closed down 26 cents at $24.66.
