Buckeye CableSystem has expanded its fight against service theft beyond PPV and digital video piracy to include theft of IP services. The cable operator launched a company-wide beta test of a collaborative solution provided by PerfTech and Secure Signals. The one-two punch against IP service theft features PerfTech’s Audit Sentry application, a component of its Bulletin System, and Secure Signals’ revenue-generating piracy conversion program.

Secure Signals and PerfTech will demonstrate their IP piracy solution at CableLabs’ Technology Forum on Feb. 8-11 in Colorado Springs.
