Bandspeed in Austin, Texas, is working with Broadcom to enhance Broadcom’s enterprise network monitoring and management platform via Bandspeed’s AirMaestro RF spectrum analysis technology and software. The offering, aimed at companies with BYOD policies, includes multiple software apps that will be included in Broadcom’s FastPath Unified Access Point (UAP) and Unified Wireless Switching (UWS) software products to identify, classify, locate and mitigate sources of RF interference. Broadcom will start deploying the new feature during the second quarter.
