NCTA is looking to the industry to help it decide which applications should be featured in its "Broadband Home" (Cfax, 4/24). It’s looking for proposals that address how the application would be used in the home, the equipment needed and the services and utilities needed to demonstrate it. The 1K-square-foot cable product/service showcase will be unveiled this fall at the Assoc’s new Capitol Hill abode. It is intended to demonstrate cable technology and programming to members of Congress and other public policy makers.
