Billings Public Schools Trustees, which serves 15,500 students in Montana, has chosen Bresnan Business Services to fulfill a five-year contract to provide an IP Hosted phone service. The service is intended to provide BPS a network-based "smart" telecommunications system with centralized intelligence that will allow the District to integrate multiple locations into a unified communications system that is customizable right down to the dialing plan.

The solution is designed for ongoing system upgrades and unlimited growth. Bresnan’s (IP) Hosted phone service will ride over the top of BPS’ fiber-optic WAN, also provided by Bresnan. The new contract will start on July 1 and will allow the Billings Public Schools to maximize the full benefits of the Federal E-rate program.
