BigBand Networks plans to demonstrate ways to monetize linear and time-shifted TV with dynamic, targeted advertising and personalized services in the Ericsson and Tandberg Television booth at the NAB Show.

The technology demonstration, featuring the BigBand MSP2000 platform, is intended to illustrate how broadband service providers can perform addressable advertising across linear and non-linear video applications for cable, telco, Internet and wireless platforms. Using open standards in conjunction with network cue-tones to insert advertising into programming for both linear and time-shifted content, service providers may perform different levels of addressability and consolidation of campaigns across linear and time-shifted viewership.

Additionally, BigBand executives will lead two panels at the Telecom2009 conference at the NAB Show:

· John Reister, chief architect – IPTV for BigBand, will chair "IPTV Services: Monetizing the Crisp Viewer Experience" on April 20.

· Yaron Raz, director of video solutions marketing for BigBand, will present "Advanced Advertising: Technical Steps in Reaching the Promised Land" on April 22.
