BigBand Networks has added Harald Braun and Michael Pohl to its board of directors.

Braun has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and wireless industries. Since 2008, he has served as president/CEO of Harris Stratex Networks. Prior to Harris Stratex, he held a number of executive positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Siemens Corp. Braun also serves as treasurer of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).

Pohl has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and cable industries. He was president of Global Strategies Group at C-COR, and prior to that, CEO at nCUBE. Additionally, he has held executive positions at SkyConnect, Douglas Communications, and ARRIS. He currently serves on the board of directors at Ascent Media and on the Advisory Board at Bycast. He was also the 2008 recipient of the NCTA Vanguard Award for Associates & Affiliates.
