In a way, NBCU really shares this award with its Comcast parent in terms of execution. But we’re singling out the many NBCU execs who ensured that its Olympics app not only worked within Comcast’s overall authentication matrix—but also made a huge impact as a standalone app. It did that and more. The content was crisp, engaging and darned pretty to boot. We can’t wait to see what new features NBCU unveils for the 2014 Winter Games.
