Belkin has announced an addition to its Powerline Networking line with its new Gigabit Powerline HD Starter Kit adapters, letting users create HD entertainment networks through their homes’ existing electrical wiring. Powered by Gigle Semiconductor’s mediaxtream chip, Belkin’s Gigabit Powerline is designed to provide a secure, stable networking signal anywhere in the home and to deliver content at 1,000 Mbps.
