Could Outdoor Channel and Time Warner Cable be headed toward a truce? It appears likely that Outdoor Channel will return to digital basic in TW’s Binghamton (NY) division June 1 after spending nearly 3 months on its digital sports tier. Such a move suggests that similar agreements may be close at the 17 other divisions that are contemplating dropping the channel or moving it to a digital tier. Outdoor has spent hundreds of thousands on an aggressive ad campaign and Website in affected TW markets. Negotiations are continuing between the 2. GSN, which is facing a similar fate in some markets, also said the 2 are continuing to talk.
