Aurora Networks’ NC2000 optical node is the company’s first 2×2 segmentable, wall or cabinet mounting node platform intended specifically for the European cable market. It incorporates the company’s digital return and virtual hub (VHub) technologies, and is designed to maximize the bandwidth of existing HFC, Fiber Deep and RFoG deployments while simultaneously providing a migration path to future network architectures with support for next-generation access modules, Node PON, BitCoax and Fiber on Demand.

The NC2000 is now shipping and will be on display at ANGA Cable 2009 at stand B48.
