Aurora Networks has introduced GEPON CPE and RFPON CPE devices for the cable market, solutions designed to help cable operators evolve their networks for an all-fiber future. The RFPON CPE (CP8016U-55-42) and GEPON CPE (CP8000N-66-45) are designed for outdoor and indoor mounting and can be utilized in both residential and commercial settings. Both are IEEE 802.3ah (EPON) compatible.
