U.K.-based ANT, a provider of software and services for the delivery of digital TV, has launched ANT Galio Move, which combines live TV viewing with companion device TV services.

Galio Move enables TV viewers to simultaneously use "second screen" TV features on a companion device such as the iPad. Galio Move allows users to stream live and recorded content directly from the set-top box or TV via Wi-Fi to their companion device anywhere in the home.

ANT Galio Move immediately identifies what is being viewed on the main TV screen and presents a program synopsis while listing what is currently showing on the other channels. Navigating the EPG, managing recordings and changing channels all become natural, rapid and intuitive through this touch screen user experience.

ANT will demonstrate Galio Move at the IBC show in Amsterdam, September 9-13.
