Amino Communications has sold and shipped its three millionth set-top box, just over a year after hitting the two million sales mark.? ?Since launching its first product to market in 2002, Amino has developed a range of set-tops to meet growing demand for IPTV from network operators, hospitality and enterprise markets. More recently, the company has expanded its offering, launching the Amino Freedom media centre targeting the growing market for hybrid/OTT devices.?

Amino CEO Andrew Burke said in a statement: “Our products are now used in 85 countries around the world – with over 800 customers ranging from major tier one operators to very locally-focused operators.”
