Amdocs Upgrades Smart Pack, Sponsors Cable Center Committee

Amdocs is making enhancements to its Multi-Play Smart Pack solution to allow greater flexibility for mid-tier and independent cable TV operators. Smart Pack is a comprehensive multi-play customer care and billing solution that enables support for video services, high-speed Internet and telephony. Smart Pack enhancements include:

• Amdocs Smart Agent Desktop, which provides customer service representatives (CSRs) with one 360-degree view of the customer and context-sensitive guidance during the call.
• Smart Pack Smart Tabs – a new tabbed ordering design that gives users the flexibility to create and configure their own tabs based on specific order needs and processes. The new tabbed ordering sequence is configurable and allows for insertion of third-party tabs to participate in the ordering process within the same transaction.

Amdocs also recently announced it has become the exclusive presenting sponsor of The Cable Center Customer Care Committee (“C5”).

The C5 is comprised of 25 invited members from the top 14 cable TV multiple system operators (MSOs) in the United States and Europe, as well as associate members representing some of the industry’s leading associations.

Through this sponsorship, Amdocs will actively participate in the group’s meetings and forums, where the industry’s most senior customer experience management executives discuss best practices and innovative solutions. The C5 is part of The Cable Center’s Customer Care Central, a group of programs and initiatives designed to help advance the customer experience.
