Romm encouraged employee productivity by creating a state-of-the-art childcare center at the company’s global headquarters and installing full-service wellness centers at major offices. Romm also launched Say Yes to the Prom, an initiative providing prom dresses and makeovers to deserving girls. She says organization is crucial for work-life balance: “If you want to have dinner with your family every night, plan for it,” she says. “It’s amazing how much you can accomplish and still have balance.”

What’s your favorite part of your job?
All the new challenges aligned with our growth, whether it’s a new acquisition, new network launch, supporting these decisions with an HR global mindset has been really rewarding.
 
How do you define success in the workplace?
Love what you do and do it well. Define your goals and focus on achieving them but expect them to change so be flexible. Build the best team and share success with them and always advocate for what you believe.
 
Best trick for maintaining the personal-professional life balance?

Be organized, if you want to have dinner with your family every night, plan for it. It is amazing how much you can accomplish and still have balance.
