At The Cable Show, AdGorillai has announced the release of its iCapture push2call technology, a customer relations management tool for cable operator Web sites. It is designed to allow any visitor to a cable operator Web site to request a phone call for programmer information, support, upgrades, to subscribe, etc. The customer provides her number, and her phone rings immediately. As she’s being connected to the operator’s customer service team, a full motion video message from a content provider plays in her browser, with the same look and feel as the operator’s Web site. Not a popup, the message can be of any length, but 15 or 30 seconds is typical. Synchronized sound for the video plays over the telephone connection. Operators also receive a portion of the video inventory for cross-promotion and all services are provided at no cost to the operator.
