Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) has announced it is supplying Poland’s INEA with two advanced high definition (HD) interactive digital cable solutions.

ADB’s open standards based solutions are delivered via the ADB-5810CDX HD digital video recorder and the ADB-5810CD HD set-top box. Both products include EURODOCSIS 2.0, a USB 2.0 port for media access and Timeshift, and Ethernet for interactivity and future services such as video-on-demand (VOD). The products are also home networking capable and come with ADB’s advanced user interface, which is making TV viewing as simple and as fast as it should be.

François Pogodalla, CEO of ADB, said in a statement: “The platform chosen by INEA combines content from both traditional broadcast and broadband networks with advanced interactive services."

Both products are already reaching consumers homes throughout Poland’s Wielkopolska region.
