Advanced Digital Broadcast‘s ADB-7820C-DEV set-top box has been specifically designed for MSOs looking to introduce HD OCAP into their networks and developers writing software applications to the OCAP standard. Building upon the ADB-3200C-DEV platform, the ADB-7820C-DEV is an OpenCable compliant DOCSIS/DSG STB with a Host 2.0 CableCard interface. The ADB-7820C-DEV supports SD and HD up to 1080i via MPEG-4 AVC. The kit includes several software tools, a serial debug port, an Ethernet port and DOCSIS connectivity.
