Acision has announced the deployment of the Acision Short Message Service Center (SMSC), Multimedia Message Service Center (MMSC) and Open Internet Proxy for Videotron’s advanced wireless network. The deployment supports the roll-out of advanced messaging services over Videotron’s wireless network, which will offer telephony services for a combined fixed and mobile platform and quadruple play technology offering to be introduced in summer 2010.
