Why Her? This is the woman who makes it all work—from allowing Optimum’s new user interface to work across multiple devices to establishing the necessary authentication for Cablevision’s nearly 50 Optimum TV to Go Offerings. And oh, the WiFi. Cablevision may not be the largest MSO in the country, but you couldn’t tell it from its impressive 75K installed Wifi hotspots. That’s more than any other operator. Kanouff also is a leader outside of Bethpage, as she’s recognized as a driving force behind VOD and advanced advertising. The first female chair of SCTE, she has also been instrumental in pushing for more women in tech throughout the industry.
