Why Him? The son of Radio One founder Catherine Hughes, Liggins continues her legacy with an eye toward the changing media landscape. His tenacity and dedication took this former salesman, already president/CEO at sister company Radio One, to the top last October when he was elevated to chairman and CEO of TV One after the departure of Wonya Lucas. Liggins marked the transition by swiftly re-upping two of the network’s most successful original programs and shepherding major cross-platform campaigns. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
