Frances Berwick
Title: President, Bravo and Style Media
Years in Cable: 18
Education: MA, Edinburgh University

Why Her? Think Bravo’s just a bunch of “Real Housewives” spinoffs? Think again. Berwick has ramped up the originals, greenlighting an unprecedented 17 new series along with 18 returning series. And she’s leading the way into scripted, with Bravo announcing at its Upfront that three scripted projects are under development. The lifestyle net’s also fresh off a year with double-digit increases in ad sales. Not a huge surprise given Bravo’s high rank among affluent, engaged and educated 18-49s. Meanwhile, the rebranded Style is seeing its best year yet for young affluent women; it practically owns the fashion, beauty and home design space. Berwick’s also a member of NY Women in Film & Television and WICT, so it’s no wonder that female execs make up a good portion of her senior team and see her as quite the role model. We do as well. ?
