Why Him? Levy shared his ranking with two fellow Turner execs last year, but this year we’re setting him apart to list his unique accomplishments. Milestones over the last 12 months include orchestrating a pair of significant sports deals on behalf of Turner Broadcasting, including the extension of a long-term multimedia rights agreement with Major League Baseball and the acquisition of Bleacher Report, an online multi-sports destination. On the digital side, Turner Sports’ March Madness Live was up 164% over last year, garnering 49 million live streams. Also, Turner received a record 27 Sports Emmy nominations, the most the company has ever scored.

Favorite decade: The ’80s. It represented my college years and working for Ted Turner.
