Why Them? Experience matters. After 20 years with Comcast, Scott will retire in July and pass along CFO duties to fellow two-decade Comcaster Cathy Avgiris. COO Watson also has more than 20 years under his belt. Scott cut his teeth as regional SVP in the Southeast region. Avgiris transformed circuit-switched telephone inherited from AT&T Broadband into digital gold as SVP and GM of Comcast Digital Voice. And before joining Comcast in ’91, Watson spent seven years with Comcast Cellular Communications. These execs exemplify Comcast’s emphasis on well-rounded knowledge and vision, with each building upon existing assets while also looking toward future products. ?
