In the past year, Schulte has solidified several key partnerships with leagues. Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic now has two rights deals with two NFL teams—the Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens. She also secured more live coverage of Major League Soccer team D.C. United and live tennis matches from the Washington Kastles. Sports news, entertainment programs and additional mobile products are on the up at the network as well. Sports play a role in Schulte’s private life too, as baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr. played a role in Schulte meeting her future husband, Ray.
