Bridgen oversees programming, operations, distribution and ad sales for both CSN and NECN. The networks tackle news, sports, politics and more across all of New England. Within the NECN territory, documentaries, long-form journalism and political programming reach more than 3 million subscribers. Under Bridgen’s watch, the regional news station has exploded with new talent, programming, a heightened Web presence and an all-HD rollout. CSN’s 4 million households get live local sports and sports talk shows. Stay tuned for possible integration of Bridgen’s assets with NBC News and NBC Sports platforms. This sports man’s guilty TV pleasure? “Pawn Stars,” which he calls “a PBS ‘Antiques Roadshow’ rip-off with dolts running the pawn shop, but it makes for compelling TV.”
