Bleacher Report – Lost in America Human Trafficking Piece

Shining a spotlight on an under-reported aspect of the USA’s immigration debate, Bleacher Report used the unusual lens of basketball to expose American schools that illegally traffic students.  With six months of dedicated reporting, they uncovered a federal probe of one particular school’s abuse of the system, and illuminated the legal, ethical, and security concerns therein. The report not only brought an important issue to a mass audience, but also reminded us that investigative reporting is still a powerful force.
