After 10 days of back and forth between Charter and Disney, the two sides struck a deal Monday to return most Disney-owned networks and ABC O&Os to Spectrum TV customers. It’s a watershed moment for operators and how they’ll negotiate these deals in a digital era, setting a benchmark for the structure of future carriage agreements. Google set a benchmark of its own after its first Sunday as the official rights holder of NFL Sunday Ticket. While reviews were mostly positive, there are still some features fans are yearning for.
