Two tech companies joined together as Broadcom acquired the outstanding shares of VMware in a $61 billion cash-and-stock transaction. The new duo aspires to make a company that gives enterprise customers a larger portfolio of infrastructure solutions. That’s not the only new team in town; Evoca and Sling TV are partnering to let customers add Sling Blue, Sling Orange or both to their subscriptions, as the NextGen TV solution taps into markets where RSNs have poor distribution.
