Fresh off the news that industry veteran Clint Stinchcomb is taking the reins as CEO at CuriosityStream, the nonfiction programming service announced its first international distribution deal. While the service had some global reach through deals with streamers like Apple TV and Amazon, this represents a new chapter in CuriositySteam’s growth. Stinchcomb talked to us about what’s ahead. Other big news this week includes a possible blackout between DISH and Univision and yet another video outlet on social media.
Nonfiction programming service CuriosityStream inked its first global deal, with Singapore distributor Starhub launching the service, including as a linear channel.

Univision Communications, Inc began alerting DISH viewers via radio and social media Saturday that they could lose some of its networks soon.
