The long, winding road that is Diamond Sports’ emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy continues to turn. Last week, Judge Christopher Lopez gave MLB access to certain parts of Diamond’s MVPD deals, a move the league sought to feel more assured about Diamond’s plan post-bankruptcy. Confidence isn’t an issue for folks at the WNBA and NWSL. The two leagues are taking the summer by storm, and they’re looking to gain as many fans as possible through their respective distribution agreements.
