Last week saw rivals join together when Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery teamed up to offer a new bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu and Max. The combination of services is something WBD CEO David Zaslav sees as key to the company’s long-term success, but it’s another layer to the growing competition in the streaming landscape. That competitive feel bled into the upfronts Monday, with NBCUniversal and Fox not shying away from taking shots at each other and other rivals.
