The modern media ecosystem is far from simple. One of the core pain points for consumers is the struggles commonly felt when trying to find or discover content, and a Parks Associates webinar addressed the issue head-on as execs from Comcast, Verizon Business, Sling TV and TiVo gave their inputs. Some point to smart TVs as a key remedy, while others look at M&A as a possible solution. Speaking of M&A, broadcasters are hoping to see more of it soon as the FCC continues its review of ownership regulations. With the initial and reply comment phases complete, it’s now a waiting game to see whether the Commission makes any adjustments.
