It was a busy week in the cable world. Comcast dropped Diamond Sports’ portfolio of RSNs from its lineup, and 19 of Warner Bros. Discovery’s networks departed Fubo after the pair failed to renew their carriage agreement. It sparked questions like how will companies reimburse users who are impacted, which times well with the FCC considering a rule that would require MVPDs to issue credits to customers for programming lost during blackouts. However, that rule wouldn’t apply to vMVPDs like Fubo, which has confirmed it won’t change its subscription price nor give credits upon the loss of WBD nets.
