It was a memorable Monday for two cable news giants. Fox News began the day by parting ways with controversial primetime host Tucker Carlson, and its rival CNN followed with the ousting of fellow host Don Lemon. Carlson’s departure comes on the heels of Fox News’ $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over a defamation lawsuit, but it’s not yet clear if the two are linked. Fox News and CNN weren’t the only ones with recent shakeups. Comcast announced Sunday that NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell was no longer with the company following an investigation into an inappropriate relationship.
