The Biden Administration has said multiple times that it is attacking what it calls “junk fees” for consumers, and it upheld its promise last week when the FCC approved rules requiring cable and DBS providers to specify the all-in pricing of video programming on bills and in promotional materials that include pricing information. Meanwhile, operators continue to expand their product offerings outside of video. Breezeline customers are set to get a mobile offering thanks to NCTC’s MVNO deal.
