The Skinny

The FCC's November open meeting felt like a changing of the guard with Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel detailing her plan to depart the Commission come Jan. 20. It'll then be Brendan Carr's turn to head up the agency, and President-elect Donald Trump will nominate someone to create a 3-2 majority by the GOP. While we watch for those changes, broadband providers are continuing to push their network technology forward. This week, Charter charged forward with the introduction of its new Advanced WiFi 7 router.
