There’s never a dull moment in D.C. Earlier in the week lawmakers continued their endeavor to wrangle artificial intelligence, specifically focusing on how it relates to communications networks. A House Communications subcommittee hearing touched on a catalog of topics such as digital watermarks and broadband deployment, but there remains plenty to be done to fully wrap their arms around AI. The FCC, however, is firmly set on how it wants to battle digital discrimination, voting to adopt final rules intended to expand broadband access to underserved communities.
