The FCC has plenty of issues on its plate since confirming a fifth Commissioner. The most prominent matter is Title II regulation. The Commission will hold a vote on the Open Internet NPRM on October 19 to potentially reclassify broadband as a telecom service rather than an information service. While net neutrality is sure to draw a healthy amount of discussion, the FCC also has a looming deadline to adopt rules on digital discrimination. Congress asked the agency to establish rules on the subject, setting a deadline to submit recommendations by November 15.
