It’s never a dull moment under the FCC’s bright lights. Last week saw broadband providers begin to notify customers of a possible end of the Affordable Connectivity Program. The initiative has over 23 million households participating in it, and providers are estimating the potential financial ramifications if customers choose to disconnect in the absence of the ACP. Elsewhere, stakeholders debated the next era of U.S. spectrum policy as they continue waiting for Congress to give the FCC back its power to run spectrum auctions.
