Ru Year's Day Virtual Drag Brunch – VH1

Necessity sparked success for the MTV Entertainment Group’s Ru Year’s Day Virtual Drag Brunch. Unable to run a live red carpet show due to COVID-19, the network hosted an interactive event with 150 fans and press, including virtual meet and greets, pre-recorded music and a comedy set, while accommodating up to three different video streams at once. Pre-coordination included fans being able to fill out online if they were willing to be on camera, and who they wanted to meet. The episode had the highest audience in franchise history, and 15.6 million cross platform views.
