There’s just no earthly explanation why this show works as well as it does. However, the results are undeniable, and non-skippable. Martha’s over-the-top perfectionism combined with Snoop’s hazy fo-shizzleism make this the kind of TV that’s hard not to love. What ultimately works so well is how much fun is clearly being had by both hosts. Cultural divides fall away when everybody’s just enjoying each other’s company, it seems. Our advice is don’t over-think it, just watch.
