Pop’s clever effort to promote this 1980s homage to the aerobics craze included two fake ads (or were they?) distributed to gather interest and lead curious viewers towards toll-free telephone numbers and “this might be real” websites that set up the story of two rival gyms competing in an aerobics competition. Of course, it’s fake—but the show, “Let’s Get Physical,” is very much real and tells the story of that exact scenario. Clever writing and super-sharp production made this a delightful introduction to a show worth watching.
