Medellin is incredibly valued by Corning, having been promoted five times in her 13 years with the company. She currently leads a product team in North Carolina, delivering record sales and growing the product line by 14% YOY in 2017. She also produced a new employee training guide that reduced the onboarding time for new hires by 50%. Not satisfied with simply making life at Corning easier, Medellin organizes an event each year to increase awareness and raise funds for elderly members of the community and in support of research and treatment for breast cancer and Leukemia.
