Fisher is part of a revolution at Hallmark that has put more diverse stories into the network’s original movie lineup. He’s supervised standout titles like “Sweeter Than Chocolate” and “Autumn in the City” over the past year, both of which featured thoughtful representations of LGBTQ+ couples. “LGBTQ+ stories that describe the human condition for all age groups hold a tremendous amount of importance in this world,” Fisher says. “It is so exciting to be part of a new era at Hallmark Media where we can tell these stories with great tenderness and compassion.” Fisher has also been responsible for planning Hallmark’s company-wide Pride events and continues to be an active participant in AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
