EVP, Ad Sales
Ovation
Since presiding over the largest ad sales revenue quarter in Ovation’s history in 4Q 2012, Janneman continues to pound the pavement for new advertisers and partners that want in on the net’s artsy audience. While she enjoys all aspects of Ovation’s business, she admits, “I still enjoy the thrill of the close.” She also enjoys being included in all aspects of the business, from interaction with the board to strategic investor meetings.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is my inclusion in all aspects of the business including interaction with board of the directors, strategic investor meetings and, of course, I still enjoy the thrill of the close.
What’s been the biggest story in cable this year?
Biggest story in cable this year is retransmission consent fees and the need to reform the 1992 Cable Act.
How do you define success in the workplace?
Success in the workplace (beyond the surpassing of goals) is that the company has an outstanding team of people in the ad sales group that operate cohesively and support one another and continue to make me proud. It is their hard work that enabled me to be so honored.
