Dror Bin has taken the reins as president/CEO of Israel-based RAD Data Communications, succeeding Efraim (Effi) Wachtel, who has retired. Bin had been a venture partner at Carmel Ventures, and he held prior positions at Comverse Technology…Mark Powell is the new executive director of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, tasked with leading both technology and market development for the global Bluetooth wireless standard. Powell most recently served as vice president of Kineto Wireless’ client software business, a company he co-founded in 2001. He also has served stints with Motorola and Nokia.
