The Open Visual Communications Consortium says the first wave of OVCC-compliant enterprise video services are now available from OVCC members AT&T, BCS Global, Airtel Business, BT, Glowpoint and Orange Business Services. According to the group, enterprise users now can collaborate visually with more people. Additionally, OVCC members AT&T, Airtel Business, Masergy and Orange Business Services developed the OVCC-compliant interconnect network that supports the new interoperable video services available to enterprise users. In related OVCC news, Polycom Inc.’s RealPresence Platform will be part of the underlying infrastructure that powers six out of the seven service providers offering OVCC-compliant, cloud-delivered video collaboration services.
