As part of its Research Program on Digital Communications, Time Warner Cable is offering two free, downloadable reports: Market Structure and Media Diversity, examining how market structure affects the availability of local news and information content to consumers and providing insight into evaluating regulations for media ownership and television programming intended to promote diversity and localism; and Between Markets and Mandates: Approaches to Promoting Broadband Access for Persons with Disabilities, including case studies of programs and policies aimed at improving access to technology ranging from technological innovations to public/private initiatives to regulatory mandates.
